Why am I a gel-only tech?

Early into my nail career I quickly realized acrylic monomer (the strong, yucky, purple liquid) was physically making me sick. Not only this, but being an expecting mother the last thing I (& baby) wanted was to consume those toxic fumes. Around this same time, nail products were changing & the first ever builder gel in a bottle was created! This revolutionary product started to take the nail industry by storm. Okay, so technically no nail products are unhealthy to wear, however, gel is less likely to cause damage from things like accidentally hitting it & ripping your natural nail off with it! Plus, removal is gentler & faster.
